Magis report 

The 2021 Magis Gifted and Talented Program has seen many outstanding developments despite the loss of many key events because of COVID-19.  At the final year assemblies this week certificates were presented for the following three major auspicious events the College has competed in for the first time in 2020.  These term three competitions came after the Magis Awards Breakfast – hence the late presentations.  Congratulations to the following students:

Next year a special focus for the Magis program will be on Magis Leadership, and there will be a special Magis camp at Point Walter at the end of week 6 in Term One.  Magis leaders listed below plus other top Magis students from Years 7-12 will be invited.  As can be seen below, the Year 12 Magis leadership team has been expanded and includes a truly outstanding team. New  Year 12 roles for 2021 will include Magis captain for each House and Magis Secretary.  Congratulations to the leadership team listed below, and warmest thanks to others who nominated for the positions.

 

Congratulations also to Kai Cranfield and Elsie Samson who received awards for best Personal Projects at the Year 7 assembly, ahead of some truly outstanding competition.
