2021 conditional offers

If you’re a student who’s received a conditional offer from UWA we’ll be reviewing your application after Monday 21 December to determine whether you’ve met the conditions on your original offer with your final results. We’ll send you an email on how you can meet any outstanding conditions.

UWA Application Help Days for School Leavers | 14 Dec, 21 Dec and 15 Jan

Registrations will open soon so you can book a session with our Future Students team to run through your  application and the opportunities available to you. Check the events page for the latest information.

STAT Writing Workshop | 14 Dec

This free online workshop will help prepare you for the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT).

Bchelor of Automation and Robotics

There have been changes to the prerequisites for the Bachelor of Automation and Robotics. Students need to complete Maths Methods ATAR and two of these three other subjects: Maths Specialist ATAR, Physics ATAR or Chemistry ATAR.

Master of Teaching (F–12) Course

UWA are introducing a new Master of Teaching (F–12) course, which will qualify graduates to teach in both primary and secondary schools. All Master of Teaching courses will also now be delivered over 1.5 years full-time (instead of 2 years), so school leavers can complete their choice of bachelor’s degree and a Master of Teaching in just 4.5 years.

USI for students in 2021 and beyond

If you’re going to university in 2021, it is now compulsory for you to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

You must have a USI to be eligible for Commonwealth assistance when studying, such as access to Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) and a HELP loan.

If you have done any VET or TAFE study in the past, you may already have a USI. If not, it’s completely free to create one, and it stays with you for life.

Workplace Basics: The Competencies Employers Want

Why you should bother to write a resume

Your resume is an introduction to potential employers and a record of your achievements,

we’ve put together some tips on writing yours. Once it’s written, it could not only help you

land a job, but it could help to save time and brain power when you’re writing other

applications too, (e.g. for university courses or scholarships).

It may seem like a pointless exercise if you’re still at high school and all the examples

you’ve seen so far list huge career histories, with mountains of work experience and

qualifications already listed.

Well, that may not apply to you just yet. But if you approach your resume writing with

enthusiasm and with the aim of highlighting your strengths, you might be pleasantly

surprised by the volume of material you’ve already got to showcase about you.
