I trust that everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable break and hope that you were able to enjoy some great visual or printed literacy with your child!

Classroom Helpers

It is a requirement that any parent/carer/grandparent wishing to assist in the classroom needs to complete our St. James Classroom Helper Sessions and have a current Working With Children Check.  At this stage, we are awaiting clarification as to when parents will be permitted to assist in this way.  Watch this space ... Josh and I will keep you posted of dates, times and requirements as soon as we can.

Premiers' Reading Challenge

Congratulations to our 17 students who completed the Premiers' Reading Challenge in 2020.  Unfortunately, I received the certificates after you finished for Term 4 at the end of last year.  I will distribute these very soon!

Report Feedback

This year, as a staff, we would like to review our current Reporting Format and Procedures. We are seeking feedback from parents as to the clarity of content, achievement and areas for improvement for our students.  You are invited to email me any ideas, suggestions or feedback that you may have on our pre-COVID reporting format - ie. 2019 Reports. Alternatively, feel free to contact me via a phone call or we could have a chat via a Google Hangout.  I look forward to hearing from you.

MATHEMATICS IN 2021

Welcome back to another exciting year at St James. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and managed to squeeze in some mathematics - either intentionally or unintentionally. 

This year I encourage everyone to check out the newsletter to see the wonderful learning happening from Prep to Year 6. Each fortnight a different year level will share their learnings and successes. I look forward to seeing what each class produces.
