SRC in action!

The 2021 SRC team has spent the last two weeks working hard to complete student initiatives regarding the rubbish around our school and recycling of the old school uniform. 

The SRC has put together a team to help with the recycling of the old uniform, which we are donating to UPAREL. UPAREL is a company that recycles and reuses old uniforms, and we have taken the initiative of supporting them. 

On behalf of the SRC we would like to thank all the parents and students for contributing by donating their uniforms. It is so rewarding to see that our school community is participating in a positive change! 

The SRC is also pushing forward with new ways to remove the rubbish from school grounds, through a whole school rubbish clean up that was held on Thursday at lunchtime- it went really well and our school looked amazing! 

Well done to all our students who were involved, the winning year levels were the Year 8’s and Year 12’s- Congratulations!

We are confident 2021 will be an exciting year full of student voice and action!
