Monash University has again made available awards to our high achieving Year 11 International Students.

Congratulations to Mia Nguyen and Quinny Le who recently accepted these prestigious awards.

Well done to you both. A certificate and a gift card to put towards their 2021 studies

Re-enrolment Day

Our current International Students attended the annual re-enrolment day on Thursday 26th November to finalise their programs for 2021.

We have 55 international students continuing their studies with us in 2021, a much lower number than in previous years but understandable due to the pandemic in 2020. Unfortunately the students enrolled to commence in July 2020 and January 2021 have had to defer until July 2021. Their arrival will depend on International Flights opening up. Hopefully this will happen soon.

Parent Excursion

Many parents of International Students who decide to travel to Australia with their children are met with the challenge of finding accommodation, renting an apartment, managing daily tasks like shopping and public transport, all with limited English language. 

To support the parents and help them establish a network of contacts and friends, Ms Jessica and Ms Thuy organised a number of activities and events, however, due to this year’s pandemic, this was postponed. 

Thankfully with Melbourne opening up, they were able to arrange a wonderful trip to the Cherry Hill Farm and Lavender Farm on Tuesday 8th December. 

Many thanks to Ms Jessica and Ms Thuy for organising and accompanying the group. Approximately 60kg of cherries were picked and bunches of lavender purchased in what was a great day out.
