Hospitality Training Summer School

Dear All,

Despite the uncertainty brought by COVID19, the annual Hospitality Training Summer School will again run at Brighton Secondary College in January.

It will run here at school from the 11th to the 15th January.  Each student will be required on only three of those days.

If you have children, relatives or friends in senior school, they are very welcome to attend. And they may also bring like aged friends with them.

The course will provide students with five certificates considered to be essential to enter the Hospitality industry.

They are:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol. (RSA)   NB: No alcohol will be served or handled on the premises.
  • Food Safety Handler  (FSH)
  • Barista Level 1
  • Professional Waiter
  • Provide First Aid

Please check the attached Flyer for more details. Registration and payment must be made online. I will provide the link as soon as I receive it.

In the meantime, interested students must register their interest with me by email. I need to know numbers for planning purposes.

If any student is bringing external friends with them, let me know who they are so I can organise them into the same groups.

The hospitality industry will roar back into life as the virus is conquered. This is a great way to equip yourselves for casual employment as you pursue further studies and training.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

John Frawley
