Wellbeing @Trinity

Antonella Tsakmakis

We all know the importance of teaching our children about safety on the internet and when using social media. It is not always easy as parents to monitor and supervise everything our children do. Therefore it is important that they have the skills and understandings to keep themselves safe and to know when things are not okay. At Trinity we have in place excellent policies and procedures for managing the use of technology and the internet while our children are at school. One aspect of this is our User Email and Digital Technology Agreement which all children must understand and sign.

When at home we hope that our children maintain safe practices and use technology in an appropriate and responsible way. In this week's newsletter we have included this excellent online resource for parents, Cyberbullying and online drama.  These live webinars explore the latest research and they are a great way to learn how you can help your child develop the skills to be safer online.
