Congratulation's to all the students who participated in our K-2 Mini Cross Country and our 3-6 Cross Country, qualifying students will now travel to Armidale on Friday 25th May 2018, to participate in the Armidale Zone Cross Country. 

Central School's Touch Football Carnival

Inverell Sporting Complex played host for  the Central Schools Touch Carnival on Wednesday 9th May 2018, which Guyra Central Schools  Secondary Department  had a 16's Girls and a 16's Boys  Touch team compete in the Carnival.  A total of six Central Schools from across the district participated in the round robin event, with our Girls 16's side finishing the day in third position and the Boys 16's side coming in second place.  Congratulations to  both teams  for their participation on the day, all participants are to be commended for  their exceptional display of sportsmanship throughout the Carnival. Thank you to Mrs Linley Ryan for organising and attending the day. Congratulations to 

our boys 16's side who will now go on to compete in another Central Schools Carnival in Dubbo later on in the year.

Primary Rugby Armidale Zone Trials

Congratulations to Stage 3 student Peter Campbell who attended the Armidale Zone Rugby Trials and successfully gained a position on the Armidale Zone Rugby Team.  Peter will now progress on to the North West Trials with the Armidale Zone Team to compete for a position on the North West Rugby side to play in the State Carnival later in the year.  We wish Peter the best of luck in his upcoming trials.
