SYIA

Students from across Victoria, including a number of students from Mooroopna Secondary participated in the Shepparton Young Instrumentalists Awards (SYIA) on the 23rd of September, 2018. Instrument sections included Piano, Woodwind, Brass, Vocals and Strings. Our students Kamali Lamba, Bailey Gall, Tarsha Brown, Jessica Eldred, James Eldred and Tiana Gledhill competed across the Brass and Vocals sections and had fantastic results! Our students won many of the sections, and the senior students all performed in the Gala Final concert. Congratulations to all our students who performed and won!

MSC SPRING FASHION PARADE

The Music Department is busily preparing for their Spring Fashion Parade.

This will be held at THE HUB in Mooroopna at 7pm on Tuesday 30th October. Because this is the week prior to the Melbourne Cup we have made a fun competition to design a Fascinator. The fascinators are to be constructed using recycled materials from around the house, and they are to be worn on the night.

BYO picnic basket and tea and coffee will also be available. Great raffle prizes to be won. Our Music students are quite excited to be models on the night featuring clothes from Talisman, Cotton On, Arcade Fashion and Wayne Ritchie.

Tickets will be on sale as of Monday 22nd October @ $10.

Please come along and have some fun to support our young musicians while they model clothes and play fantastic music.
