Resource Centre

As we welcome everyone back to the Resource Centre for Term 4 we also wish our HSC students all the very best for their exams. We are here to continue to support you throughout your exams and look forward to seeing you gather in the Resource Centre before each exam and also to come in to do further study.

We start Term 4 with a display of new fiction and non-fiction books for students to borrow, which include several series: The Travelling Bookshop by Katrina Nannestad, Guardians of Ga’Hoole by Kathryn Lasky, Animal Stars by Jackie French, Peski Kids by R.A Spratt, Kicking Goals by Sam Kerr, Jake Maddox Adventures and Math is Categorical by Brian P. Cleary.  In addition, there is a range of new books by Anthony Horowitz, Betsy Byars, Scot Gardner, Anh Do, R.J Palacio, Tristan Bancks and Claire Garth.

There is so much wonderful reading material for the students to be able to choose books of interest to them, as well as a wide range of magazines covering everything from sports and the universe to drama and fashion.

I am also sending a reminder to all students with overdue library books to return them as soon as possible. These students have been sent email reminders to return their overdue item/s; should they fail to return the items or to contact Resource Centre Staff to resolve any issues then they will receive an invoice for the cost of the non-returned books.

We wish everyone well for the final Term of the year and encourage them to drop into the Resource Centre to borrow a book or magazine to enrich their reading and expand their horizons.
