Arts Update

Last Wednesday, 12 October, the MSC Art Exhibition ran from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. Students from year 7 to year 12 were selected to have their artworks exhibited in the school library, while students from music and drama performed for students, family and staff. 

The evening was an amazing success, with more students exhibiting than ever before! There was a range of sculptures, painting, prints and other mixed media, that can still be seen with some still being displayed in the library and reception. We had so many parents, friends and families come and show their support and it was incredible to see our students celebrated for their creative pursuits. 

Thank you so much to all the students who allowed us to exhibit and celebrate their work! Also a big thank you to all the amazing staff who helped out with the event, Justine Jackson, Marissa Panagenas, Lauren Blackie, Luke Dixon, Llewelyn Crist, Daniel Arancibia, Adele Halil, Sherie Halil and Jonathan Hartley. 

And lastly to the students that helped set up and pack up, the year 11 and 12 Studio Arts groups. As well as Charlotte Rego and Kayla Maddern who stayed to help set up and pack up. We couldn’t have done it without you.
