School Production 2022

When You Wish Upon Star

It takes many hours to prepare for our wonderful school production and with the cancellation of our 2021 concert due to COVID lockdowns it was difficult to make a booking with Riverlinks. Therefore we were very lucky to use the Kyabram Plaza Theatre. Like Walt Disney, I had a little idea and with a wonderful team we made many memories last Thursday.

Thank you, Andrew Nilbett for the preparation of our alternative venue this year and for the organisation of projector hiring. Many phone calls and emails were made behind the scenes and we are very grateful for your time and effort.

Thank you, Matt Hooper, for your creativity. You spent many hours working on the images that added to our performances on the day. The videos and images add so much more to our shows and you always go above and beyond.

Thank you, Karen Nihill, for the time spent in music lessons getting all of our students prepared for our wonderful finale. Your choreography and passion always finishes off our production performances on a high.

The gorgeous magic carpet was created by team Petrie. Thank you, Nick, Bree and Amelia for taking the time to produce such an amazing prop for our performance.

Thank you to all our wonderful staff, putting together your class dances and costumes. It all takes time but each and every scene was truly amazing. Working backstage supervising is not an easy task and I thank each and everyone of you for your efforts and dedication.

Nicola Nugent, thank you for the balloon garland and Em and Adam Stonham for the Disney castle cut out in the foyer.

Sarah Hansford, thank you for all your help backstage during the rehearsal and the matinee.

A very big thank you to Lisa from the Kyabram Plaza for her professionalism and her team of volunteers. The Kyabram Plaza is run by volunteers and our rehearsal and performances ran so smoothly.

Thank you, Sally and Deb for the ticket sales and administration tasks.

A huge thank you to all of the students, families and grandparents who helped along the way.

We are already thinking about 2024.

Thanks again.
