Tandara Farms (20.10.22)

Tandara Farms is a progressive grain production operation based in Kojonup with operations also in Boyup Brook and we are seeking a young energetic person to join our cropping team.

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Cropping Manager and will be required to communicate and work effectively within our team. The role requires a person with a results focused attitude who is willing to adopt innovative technologies, accept direction and take on responsibilities. 

The successful applicant will require a good understanding of modern machinery, show initiative, and be prepared to learn all aspects of the operation. The role includes operating modern machines for seeding, crop spraying and harvesting while also undertaking servicing of machinery and equipment and general farm duties. The applicant will also be encouraged to be involved in training via interaction with our agronomist, attending field days and will be assisted with ongoing personal development.

The generous remuneration package will be salary based. A well-maintained home on the property is included and, at times, shared with the manager and an additional staff member at key times of the year. A current driver’s licence is essential and a work vehicle is provided in the package. Farm safety is a priority and staff participation is encouraged in continually developing safety plans.
