LAST DAY OF TERM 4 2023

Can you believe that today is the last day of the school year and what a wonderful year it has been! 

WHOLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY 

Running order for tomorrow Tuesday 20th December: 

  • Assembly at 12.45 pm 
  • Guard of Honour at 1.20pm - We ask all families to form a guard of honour for our Year 6 students as they exit the gates of RPS for the final time. 
  • School Finishes at 1.30pm - Students who are unable to be collected at this time will need to attend TheirCare

Reports are now live on Compass, we remind all Year 6 families and all departing families to download their previous reports as well as their Seesaw digital portfolios prior to December 31st.

Monday 24th April - Engage-communication and reflection model – restorative/trauma-informed practices.  (Start of Term 2 – Anzac Day  

 

Term 3 – 10/7 – 15/9

2023 YEAR 3-6 HOUSE SWIMMING CARNIVAL

The 2023 Year 3-6 House Swimming Carnival is scheduled for Monday 13 February 2023 at Prahran Aquatic Centre. All  Year 3-6 staff and students will depart school via bus at 9:30am and will return at 2:0pm. 

 

Students will participate in swimming and novelty events across the day. Participation in events is strongly encouraged. Students will be given the opportunity to trial for the RPS Swimming Team that will represent at the Balaclava District Swimming Carnival.  Please note that all district events are 50m distances.

 

All students will require the following:

  • Sports uniform including hat
  • House T-shirt
  • Appropriate swimming attire.  One-piece bathers are recommended for girls and rash vests are highly recommended for all students.
  • Swimming cap (compulsory) 
  • Goggles (optional but recommended)
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Plastic bag for wet gear
  • Epipen/asthma puffer if required
  • Food and drink for the day

 

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. If this is the case, parents will be notified early Monday morning via Compass. Parents are most welcome to attend and support the students.

 

Consent is required via Compass and Payment of $55 is required via Qkr unless previously paid through voluntary financial contributions.
