Adelaide Festival of Children’s Books Day at HEPS

We were very fortunate to enjoy a wonderful day of learning with 9 inspiring authors and illustrators on Monday 7th November. Our students loved it and were so engaged and the presenters were very impressed with our school, our students and community. Here is a snippet of feedback from Jane Jolly – Author, that she emailed to me a few days after visiting us –

Dear Sally,

I just want to let you, and all of your staff, know of the absolutely wonderful visit I had at your school yesterday.

I have visited a lot of schools doing author talks over the last 10 or more years and your school would hands down have to be the most amazing school I have visited. As soon as I walked in, I felt the positive peaceful vibes and it didn’t stop all day.

Both your students and your staff should be proud of the positive community they have built. The assembly in the morning felt like a big family gathering and I LOVED your school chant!
