Deputy Principal's Message

Welcome to Week 4 of Term 4. Students in Years 3-6 have now completed the check-in assessments in reading, writing (Year 6 only) and numeracy. We look forward to analysing the results of these assessments to reflect on student learning and our teaching and learning practices. Students in Years 4-6 have also now completed the Tell Them From Me Survey. The survey closes on Friday 4 November for parents and teachers.

Loud Shirt Day

On Friday 21 October, students participated in the SRC's fundraiser for Loud Shirt Day. We raised $541.05 for NextSense, which is an organisation that many of our students with hearing loss access to support their needs. 

Students participated in a variety of activities including Auslan activities, signing welcome circles, lessons for Kindergarten on how to blow their nose effectively, discussions regarding cochlear implants, and activities to develop students' knowledge and understanding of what it is like to live with hearing loss.
