Principal's Report 

What a wonderful 2 weeks we have had at Rangeview! Many of our families celebrated Diwali, our new Foundation 2023 students came for transition sessions, our Level 6 students participated in Life Education sessions, our Level 2 students had their very first sleepover at school, our staff celebrated World Teachers Day, all our students practiced their Public Speaking, Level 3/4 and 5/6 had Hoop Time and some students had the opportunity to meet some NBL players, our Term 4 Working Bee, and our whole school celebrated Oktoberfest!

Congratulations and thank you to our wonderful German Team - Frau Lindner, Frau Taylor, Frau Kent and our German Captain Matilda. 

Level 2 Sleepover

A huge success thanks to the efforts of the Level 2 Team and the staff from other levels who gave up their time to help out! Thank you Mr Le, Mr Anderson, Ms Horvath, Ms Ambrose, Ms Kehoe, Ms Wallis, Ms O'Connor, Mr Clark, Ms Balderston, Ms Campbell and Ms McLeod. 

Working Bee

Thank you to all of the wonderful families that came out and enjoyed the sunshine at our Term 4 Working Bee. It was a huge turnout and a great success and out beautiful school is now ready for the Junior Athletics Day and the Rangeview Fair! 

Canteen at Rangeview

We have been investigating the option of a Canteen at Rangeview. It could be a lunch order style canteen with an external company delivering lunches that are pre-ordered, it could be an onsite canteen owned and operated by an external company, or it could be an onsite canteen owned and operated by the school. 

Our initial parent survey was completed by 349 families and yielded the following results; 

Written responses were largely positive but many discussed the need for healthy options and some raised concern around affordability for some families. 

We have now sourced an option for a lunch order style canteen as a first step and are seeking more community feedback. https://classroomcuisine.com.au/about

Rangeview Fair

We are so excited about the upcoming Rangeview Fair - set for Sunday 13th November. The amount of planning, organization and preparation that has gone into this event is truly incredible. We want to extend our thanks to the organisers - particularly Emma Rankin, Saskia Desilla and Laura Warren, and all of the P&F Committee for their efforts. It is going to be a truly spectacular day.
