Student achievements

Congratulations to the following students: 

Matilda Waddington (Year 11) and Jessica Ransley (Year 10), who have have been named in the Cricket Tasmania U19 Women's National Championships Squad.

Matilda and Jessica are now gearing up to represent Tasmania on the national stage at the championships, to be held in Perth in December. This is a huge coup for the talented pair, who have poured their heart and soul into the sport. Well done to you both! 

 

Mackenzie Kinghorn, Caitlin Marr, Abby Wilson (Year 12) and Ava Thomsett (Year 11) whose artworks have been selected for exhibition in Tasmania’s ArtRage Exhibition 2023. Read more in Latest News here.

Ellie Richardson (Year 5), who recently travelled to Canberra to represent Tasmania in the Bruce Cup - a fierce competition that showcases some of Australia's best young tennis players. There were many highlights from the experience for Ellie, but a standout would have to be meeting with Australian tennis player, Nick Kyrgios!

Taylah (Year 10) and Macey Hayes (Year 3),who have capped off an excellent season in judo after a successful showing at the Ulverstone Judo Club Open. Taylah rose to the challenge in both of her divisions, winning gold in Junior Ladies and Senior Ladies.

Following in the footsteps of her big sister, Macey also received a gold medal in her division. This is a fantastic result for you both and a testament to your hard work in the sport.  

 

Annabel Barnard, Hannah Schofield, Zoe Ratcliffe (Year 4), Harper Bowerman, Isla Sharp, Mia Wanandy (Year 3), Penelope Dean, Harriet Ellston, Essie Kline, Madeleine Lovell, Anya Nordinson and Adrianna Rajpal (Year 2), whose brains received a workout when they participated in the Chinese poetry competition organised by the Chinese Language Teachers Association Tasmania in Term 3. 

The results are now in and we are delighted to announce that Penny was awarded first place; Harriet received second place, Anya finished third and Hannah earned an honourable mention.  Well done! You should all be very proud of what you have achieved.
