Dear Families,

Welcome back!  Get ready for a fun filled Term 3.

Rocketeers went off with a blast.  Loads of children and activities to fill in the days and I was told it was lots of fun and the movie Elemental was great.   

This week we focused on Friendship and building relationships with others so we can work towards providing an inclusive environment. We have been encouraging children to make new friends and to invite others to participate in activities who we may not know well, may be older or younger, in a different class or even new to the school.  We want everyone to feel welcome.

Next week is STEM!  We have a range of activities from camp story telling, paper plane races, making an ice bomb, using nature to make leaf bugs and even an origami spinner. We also hope to learn a thing or two.

There is still a couple of days left to get your child’s entries in for the Big Art Competition.  Go to campaustralia.com.au/bigartcomp, download and print the artist or expressionist template, let your child’s imagination flow, fill out the consent section on the bottom of the template, take a photo and upload your child’s creation.  Entries close this Sunday, 16th July.
