Welcome Back to Term 3

We hope this message finds you all in high spirits and ready for an exciting new term at Hampton Park Secondary College. As we embark on this journey together, we have some important updates and announcements to share with our fantastic student body and their supportive families.

As we venture into this new term, let us remember that it is a journey filled with learning, growth, and fun. Let's support one another, embrace opportunities, and make the most of our time together as a community.

Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated staff members who are always here to help.

Wishing you all a successful and fulfilling term ahead!

Uniform Matters: Embrace the New and Stay Warm!

First and foremost, we want to extend a warm welcome to all our students and remind them of the importance of wearing their school uniform with pride. Not only does the uniform promote a sense of belonging and identity, but it also fosters unity within our school community.

We are pleased to inform you that PSW now offers some new additions, including a cozy fleece jumper. As winter is here, this will be a wonderful warmer option for those chilly mornings. Make sure to check it out!

For families who may need assistance in acquiring the school uniform, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Freeman House Teams. We understand that circumstances can vary, and we are here to support our students and ensure that they feel comfortable and confident throughout the school year.

House Competition: Unleash Your Talents!

Get ready to showcase your hidden talents and earn valuable House Points! We are thrilled to announce HP’s Got Talent, a talent show house competition where students can demonstrate their skills, whether it's singing, dancing, reciting poetry, or any other special talent. Keep an eye out for further details on the competition and make sure to participate to earn points for your House.

Course Counselling: Shaping Your Future Pathway

As we progress through this term, students in the senior years will have the opportunity to engage in course counselling. This is a crucial moment for all our students in particular year 10 and 11 students as they explore subjects that align with their interests, strengths, and future career goals. We encourage senior students to thoroughly investigate their pathway options and choose subjects they are passionate about and excel in. For our junior students, this is an excellent opportunity to explore various subjects and discover new passions while honing existing skills.

Please note the importance of carefully reading the information about course counselling, especially course counselling dates for each year level, as some students may not be required at school on those specific days. We want to ensure everyone gets the necessary guidance and support during this process.

Celebrate Our Core Values and Nominations

Congratulations to all the students who have been nominated for exemplifying our core values of learning, respect, working together, community, and leadership. Your dedication to upholding these values contributes significantly to making our school a vibrant and inclusive community. Keep up the fantastic work!

Year 12: Making the Most of Your Final Term

For our Year 12 students, this term marks the last leg of your school journey at Hampton Park Secondary College. We encourage you to embrace every opportunity that comes your way, including additional exam revision sessions provided by Elevate, study periods, and personalized support from your teachers. Let's work together to ensure your success as you prepare for the next chapter of your lives.

Moreover, we want to remind all Year 11 and 12 students about the eagerly awaited School Formal, which will be held this term. This will be a memorable event to cherish with your friends and classmates, celebrating the achievements and memories you've made throughout your time at HP.
