After working hard to master dates and times earlier in the term, Year 8 students have moved onto their unit on Japanese Festivals and will be engaged in a variety of festival related activities until the end of the term.

Year 10 Elective students have completed their unit on Japanese housing by designing and building a tiny Japanese home, then describing its features in Japanese. The final products were amazing with the students’ language skills becoming more varied with each topic.

Year 12 Japanese students recently completed their speaking task - a 5-6 minute presentation which introduced themselves, their families, hobbies, school life. Without having ever visited Japan, these students’ language skills are amazing!
