Time flies when you are having fun!

Welcome back to another ten weeks of playing, performing, perfecting and the pure JOY that is P.E.

 

This year is flying along and we are excited to get started on another journey exploring games, skills and fitness during these cold winter months.  

 

This term we will be enthusiastically utilising our amazing gym space and equipment as much as we possibly can to avoid the wet, muddy and cold conditions.  We ask that on the day your class has Phys Ed with us that you wear comfortable joggers to school or bring them in your bag so that you can use them when you are running around inside.  The polished timber of the basketball court is too slippery for socks and wearing thick, heavy school shoes might also hurt your feet as well as our special flooring so joggers/runners are the best!

 

There have been a few modifications to the timetable so below is a list of all of our classes and what day you are visiting us to play!  Take note of the day and you can be sure to pack your runners.

Term 3 is jam packed with activities including:

  • Basketball tournaments and skill development
  • Soccer and FMS focus on kicking
  • An introduction to La Crosse
  • Dance and basic movement to music
  • Fitness testing and how training improves our fitness
  • Developing a basic understanding of what happens to our bodies when we exercise
  • Forms of individual fitness as opposed to team based exercise and sport
  • Grade 3 camp and a Zone Athletics Competition
