Rights, Responsibility and Respectful Relationships Open Afternoon

Skye Primary School is a Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) Lead School. RRRR is about embedding a culture of respect and equality across our entire school community. This evidence-based approach developed by the Victorian Department of Education leads to positive impacts on a student's academic outcomes, their mental health, classroom behaviour and relationships between teachers and students.

The RRRR learning covers age-appropriate content across all year levels through a range of activities exploring topics such as personal strengths, problem solving, stress managements and help seeking. These activities aim to develop students' social, emotional and positive relationship skills; helping them to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

You may have heard your child/ren talking about their Wellbeing or "RR" lessons at school. Have you ever wondered what a lesson looks like? To celebrate the wonderful learning in this area, you are invited to join us to participate in a lesson.

As this is a learning activity, children need to remain in their classroom and cannot attend sessions as a family in their sibling's classroom. Visitors attending are welcome to move between classrooms of family members to observe and participate in the lessons.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Date: Thursday 27th July
