You’ve probably had conversations with your kids about boundaries.

Maybe you’ve talked about why boundaries matter, what to do when boundaries are crossed, and how to get out of uncomfortable situations.

But sometimes, it’s still hard for children to know when something is okay and when it’s not. How do they know when it’s time to stand up for themselves?

 

The key is being able to listen to their bodies.

From sweaty palms to upset stomachs, our bodies give us warning signals that say, “This isn’t okay–it’s time to speak up.”

This week, we’re sharing Crossed Body Boundaries Might Feel Like… (Poster) set out below to help teach kids how to identify early warning signs when they may feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
