Dear Parents and Carers,

I trust many of you were able to enjoy the Long Weekend. I took the opportunity to visit with my Dad and my sisters in Bendigo where the weather was much worse than I understand it was in Colac. Still the chance to be with family is life giving and sustaining for me. I hope it is for you too.

FEAST OF THE SACRED HEART  This Friday we will celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart. Fr Michael will celebrate Mass in our Multi-purpose Room from 10:00am.

Our community has been asked to make a donation to St Vincent de Paul’s Winter appeal which will be handed over by our School Leaders following Mass on Friday. If you would like to contribute to this appeal, please leave your donation at the Front office.

Following Mass the children will be participating in ‘Jump Rope For Heart’ exercises before receiving a hot dog and drink for lunch. There will be NO lunch orders on this day.

ASSESSMENT CONVERSATIONS begin this week and continue into next. Parents are invited to book an appointment via PAM. However, if the day and time provided doesn’t suit you, we will do our best to make other arrangements. Mid-year reports will be distributed at this meeting and discussed with parents and students.

END OF TERM ARRANGEMENTS The students will finish Term 2 NEXT THURSDAY June 22nd at 3:15pm.

Our staff will be continuing with our Training in the ReLate welfare training course that we have committed to. 

ENROLMENTS Parents, from our school, that have submitted an Enrolment Application for a Foundation student for 2024 will receive their offer of a position at Sacred Heart this week.
