House Art Competition

The House Art competition was held a few Tuesdays ago and it was a tight race with both houses getting their creative juices flowing! Em Toms our culture captain, organised students to make origami swans in reference to the school the logo. Mullagh students frantically folded blue swans while Wallace boldly bent yellow swans into shape at lunchtime.

Students were invited to attend and practice their origami skills making as many swans in their house colour as they could with Wallace house taking out the competition with 25 yellow origami swans. It was a close call!

F/1 Stem

Recently in Year F/1 STEM we created batteries from lemons. The students had a great time discovering how many lemons it takes to light up one LED and I was very impressed with how many students worked out how to create their circuits all on their own.
