Aussie of the month

We are excited to introduce a new initiative at Swan Hill North Primary School called  ‘Aussie of the Month’.

The Aussie of the Month award recognises personal endeavour, achievement, and contribution to the community. The award also reflects some of the values we share as Australians, a sense of fair play, generosity of spirit, commitment to community participation and a real concern for the environment. Each month, one student will be chosen as the Aussie of the Month and the recipient is presented with the Aussie of the Month badge and certificate at a school assembly. The certificate and badge are kept by recipients as a memento of the occasion.

Congratulations to the following student who have been awarded the first Aussie of the Month at Swan Hill North Primary School: Lilia Gray!

Lilia is a positive, motivated and inclusive student. She is friendly to all her peers and is happy to help others in the classroom and in the yard. Lilia consistently makes good choices and demonstrates perseverance in all school activities and classroom tasks. Lilia continually displays excellent sportsmanship qualities and generosity. She is dedicated to her commitments within the community and defines the true spirit of what it means to be recognised as “Aussie of the Month.”
