Official Opening of Curiosity

In community on Sunday, through a regular worship service, we celebrated and officially opened Curiosity.

The Curiosity children sang before Pastor Reid inspired us with God's word and of course ... entertained.  Curiosity was dedicated by our student leaders using the words of Matthew 5:8 ... Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Student leaders then prayed a blessing over the community.

Heavenly Father, we pray for the students of Curiosity.  May they learn to follow you and to reach out to others, giving generously of their love and friendship.

We pray for the Curiosity staff team, always working together and sharing their gifts with Good Shepherd’s youngest learners.

We ask a special blessing for the parents and friends of Curiosity and pray that this special place of learning fosters feelings of safety, support and belonging.

Lord, we dedicate the Curiosity Early Learning Centre  development and ask that you bless it to be an engaging and exciting learning space, where your love and light shines through every conversation, every collaboration and every creative inquiry.

Curiosity was officially opened by Garry Schwartz who thanked all who contributed to the vision and the realisation of the dream, especially God, who continues to richly bless our school and community.

Finally we moved to the site to enjoy tours, food and fellowship.
