Open Rugby Union
Good luck to our Open Rugby Union side who are travelling to Moree on Thursday to compete in the 7’s knockout competition. If they are successful on the day they will progress to the Regional Final in Tamworth on Thursday 12 April.
Polding Swimming
Good luck to Jack Jellicoe, Emma Brabant and Casey Brabant who will compete at the Polding Swimming trials in Sydney, Homebush, tomorrow, 21 March. Thank you to Miss Gartshore for accompanying them as Armidale Diocesan Swimming Manager.
Primary Sport
Over the next 3 weeks students from Year 3-6 will start class rotations through a variety of activities for sport. As part of the rotation each week, one class will be going Ten Pin Bowling at ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’ and another will be heading to the Indoor Centre or King Fit while the other 6 classes will stay at school and participate in basketball, touch, indoor hockey, sofcrosse, cricket or tee ball. This week it is 3/4C’s turn to go to King Fit ($3.50) and 3/4GD will go bowling ($8.00). If you have any concerns please contact Mrs Dal Santo. Diocesan Winter Trials
Over the next week senior Primary students will trial for Netball, Soccer, Hockey and League. These trials are for individuals and are not for school teams. Only 5-6 students are selected for each sport. If students are selected at a school level they must be available to go to Diocesan Trials on 6 April in Tamworth and then if gaining further selection, Polding Trials in Tamworth on 4 May. If your child is selected they will receive a note early next week.

Secondary Sport
School sport for the remainder of the term will be the Secondary house competition with students participating in a rotation of different activities and games each week. Students are reminded to bring a hat and water bottle. After two weeks of games the leader board is as follows: Johns 918, Marks 605, Leos 605, Pauls 391.
Diocesan Rugby League
Congratulations to Sam Gilligan, Jake House, Darcy Brennan and Campbell Watchirs who were selected in the U15’s Armidale Diocesan Rugby League team last week. They will now play at the Northern Country CCC trials in Smithtown in week 11.

Well done to all players who participated at the 9’s Rugby League Gala Day in Inverell last Friday.
