Wellbeing
The Student Wellbeing Department has continued in its commitment to supporting the transition of our youngest into high school. Two groups of our year seven girls participated in the program over 10 weeks, that focused on imparting Social and Self-awareness Skills.
The girls used talk and play, art and craft as mediums to explore ideas central to their life-stage adjustment while improving their social skills and confidence. They report having a better understanding of their emotions, know what good mental health looks like, and can identify when they or someone else needs help. They are brave and optimistic as they embark on the rest of their high school careers.
