WELCOME BACK
Welcome back to a new year in the Music Department. We are thoroughly looking forward to the great performing opportunities that will present themselves throughout the year.
NEW STRINGS TEACHER
We welcome Ms Rose Kavanagh who will be teaching upper strings two days a week.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Misha Machlak who has been asked to perform at the prestigious VCE Top Class Sounds Music Concert on 28 March. This is an outstanding achievement for one of our students. Well done!
NOTE TO VCE STUDENTS
VCE students are reminded that they should be setting up their rehearsal schedule NOW for whole year to ensure success in the final performances.
HOUSE MUSIC FESTIVAL
We are excited about the House Music Festival where the students have the opportunity to showcase their talents as arrangers and performers. This will take place at 7:00pm Thursday March 19 in the School Hall. Make sure you mark your calendars for this very exciting event.
Congratulations to the newly appointed House Captains for 2015. They will be running the entire House Music Festival night’s program – from selecting the music, arranging it and running rehearsals.
