Middle Years Music Concert
End of Year Library Procedures
With the end of the year nearly upon us, it is timely to recap our library procedures concerning book returns.
It is a very busy time in the library with all students returning books and we aim to make the process as simple as possible. Students are reminded that they are responsible for any item they have borrowed. They need to ensure that they have their own books and not allow them to be swapped. The library policy is that all items not returned to the library are to be paid for by the borrowing student. Any books that are returned in a state unfit to be loaned to another student are also charged to accounts.
Prior to the end of formal lessons students are given lists of the items they have borrowed. If items have not been returned by the date specified then a letter will be sent to parents notifying them of the outstanding items and the date that items will be charged to their account.
Any items still outstanding will then be added to fee accounts and incur a $5 non-refundable processing fee. If an item is later returned, the cost of the item is refunded to the account.

Final Book Return Date 19 Nov
Email sent to families 20 Nov
Items added to accounts 23 Nov
Years 10 and 11
Book Lists to Students 16 Nov
Final Book Return Date 30 Nov
Letter sent to families 6 Dec
Years 7, 8 and 9
Book Lists to Students 30 Nov
Final Book Return Date 7 Dec
Letter sent to families 11 Dec
