P&C News

The P&C assisted with cooking a sausage sizzle for Reconciliation week. A great day was had by all who attended and it was lovely to see so many families joining the kids on their reconciliation walk around the school. P&C members and parent helpers were also on hand to help with meal deals at the athletics carnival on Tuesday. Again, another successful day was had by all!

Some great news! The committee has moved to contribute $1000 towards some upcoming performing arts productions to assist with costs for parents. This means that the Year 2 Dance Festival and Vocal Group SIMF project costs will be subsidised by the P&C.

The committee has also ordered 2 gazebos and 2 eskys. Bunnings Warehouse have kindly donated an esky and some ice bricks to the P&C. This will certainly help with our sports catering days and other school events held outdoors. Thank you Bunnings!

We have two more vacancies open for executive members if anyone is interested, and also our Secretary role remains vacant currently.

We are going to need a treasurer for next year. If anyone is interested in this role, please consider joining us, so we can look at handing over and learning the role before the current treasurer leaves.

If you have any enquiries, please reach out by either calling the school office or emailing us at ofpspc@gmail.com.

We are a very small group so hope to see some new faces at our next meeting, or any events if you can help and we have a lot of committee members moving on next year. Did you know that the canteen is run by our P&C? Without a committee we will not be able to provide such a fantastic service. No experience is necessary and it is a brilliant way to gain an insight into the way the school works and meet new people.

Next meeting: General meeting Wednesday, 28 June in the school library, commencing at 6.30pm.
