Kharisma Kids - OSHC

We started off the week with some lovely Autumnal weather and took advantage with playing outside.
We started off with a Green Cactus Piñata filled with little lollies. Once the cactus was bashed open the lollies fell and it was a scramble. The children shared the lollies around with the group.
Mia made an outside cinema for her little teddy and Ethan took advantage of the dry leaves and wind to throw them up and watch how they scattered in the breeze.
Craft for the week was Watercolour Painting. Some of the designs were
drawn by some of the children, copied then we let the creativity begin.
Watercolour painting is a great way for the children to experiment with a variety of colours. Less water gives a deeper colour, more water can dilute the colour and water paints also allow for mixing of colours and experimenting with all the various colours.
We had a couple of ‘Treat’ breakfasts and Afternoon Snacks. Pancakes, crumpets, toast and Butter Chicken with rice. As we are heading into Winter, and changing our operations from LS1 into the Multi-purpose Hall, we will have a two week rotation menu of the most popular snacks. We will however re-assess the menu as we physically move and settle into the new environment.
