Lower Secondary (Years 7-8)
The 7/8s have settled well back into school after their exciting camp in the city. Students had a great time on camp. They explored the city and walked long distances each day with a positive attitude. Some interesting places they visited were the Shrine of Remembrance, Botanical Gardens, Fed Square, Vic Markets, SeaLife, Eureka Sky Deck and a relaxing River Cruise. The 7/8s who stayed at school enjoyed a magic show by Tim Credible. The magic show included an amazing bubble magic performances. Non-campers also set up a tent in the classroom and participated in social games.
In class, the 7/8s have been collecting data on items they sell at their mini markets every Wednesday in the courtyard. Students have also collected data on the type of shops they found at Watergardens during their travel training days. Some categories included food, clothes, coffee, toys, lollies and sports. Everyone is now preparing and getting exciting for the Winter Fete.

What’s Happening In ASDAN?
This term the ASDAN team have been very busy as we continue to
participate in supported work experience programs. Students and staff have been working well to weed, water and gather vegetables that are growing rapidly. There is always a lot of weeding and raking to do. We have carrots, spinach, onions, leeks and zucchini growing at the moment. The students have all enjoyed taking home freshly picked produce to add to their meals.
Each week, a team of ASDAN B students assist Simon and Azmi to maintain the school grounds. They work together to ensure the job is completed. Great team work ASDAN B.
