On the 25th of May, 6 of our Student Representative Council members from year 10, Eve Assen, Ethan Barry, Shaun Beasley, Rhiannon Chetty and Poppy Gillottie participated in the 2023 Banyule Youth Summit at the Heidelberg Golf Course.

The Summit was an all-day activity where students from local Banyule schools were able to discuss together the issues that are important to them including; Youth Voice, Body Image, Climate Change, Gender Equality and many more. The Summit included a visit from the Mayor Peter Castaldo and Eltham MP and Secretary for Education Vicky Ward. Students were given the opportunity to have their collect voice heard and be a part of positive change in their local community.
