Foundation to Year 2 News 

Throughout the term, 1/2B have been working towards a class goal, collecting Dojo points when the whole class showed cooperation, respect, determination, and resilience. 

They achieved their goal last week and were treated to an afternoon at Alma Park! Way to go 1/2B! Keep striving towards greatness!

This term’s Science focus is - Living Things Need Different Things. We have begun a science experiment in our classes, growing beans without planting them! We used a snap lock bag, wet paper towel and a seed. Over the past few weeks, we have closely observed them, noting the changes that are occurring and watching the life cycle of a plant in real time!

We’re all really excited about going to Collingwood Children’s Farm next Thursday 25 May where we will get to pot our own seed to take home, walk in the paddocks and gardens, cuddle farm animals, and speak with a farmer and also see some farm animals!
