BUILDING LANGUAGES LEADERS

On Thursday, 9th March, selected Level 5/6 students participated in an initiative funded by the Department of Education’s 2023- 2025 Victorian Challenge and Enrichment Series.

The event called ‘Building Languages Leaders’ was organised by the Modern Language Teachers Association (MLTAV) and funded by the Department of Education and Training.

This 2-hour in-school activity involved 25 Level 5/6 students being trained as languages leaders to teach two of our Level 2 grades (2H and 2L) a language-based game, namely dominoes.

Students had a wonderful time not only playing the game and interacting with each other, but also using the new language they had learnt whilst playing the game.

Our Languages Leaders look forward to continuing their great work in supporting and encouraging all students at Rangeview to further their language and literacy skills (in all languages) in fun and interactive ways.

On behalf of the German Team at Rangeview, I would like to thank and congratulate all students involved on their fabulous participation and outstanding manners on this day.

GERMAN EASTER QUIZ WINNERS

Congratulations once again to our three lucky winners of our German Easter Quiz:

Students were invited to answer 6 questions about Easter in Germany and submit their quiz sheets into the yellow German post box outside the German room. Winners were drawn at the final assembly for Term 1. ‘Danke schön’ to all students who participated in the quiz and ‘viel Glück’ (lots of luck) for next year!
