Principal's Report

Achieving Excellence Together”

Term 2 - Reflection

I hope everyone is safe and healthy and congratulations on a great term of learning.

As I reflect on the term that we have had at Roxburgh Park Primary School I can not help but feel extremely proud of our teachers, students and parents and their ability to adapt to any challenge.

This term started with our commemorative ANZAC assembly and we also laid a wreath at our local war memorial.

We were able to have school photos as planned and have completed our cabinet display in our foyer with the photos of all our school leaders.

Our Grade 3 and Grade 5 students did an amazing job completing NAPLAN.

I held my first Community Conversation. This had a focus on developing our new school Vision. Thank you to the parents who have contributed to this process. I will publish our new vision in our next newsletter once I finish working with a few grade 3 to 6 students with their feedback.

We went into another lockdown where everyone did an amazing job staying connected. Thank you to all students who attending the weekly wellbeing check-in's each morning and year level Master classes. It is always great seeing your smiling faces each day even if it is on a screen.

We will finish off this term with Semester Reports that will be published via Sentral next week. We also have Parent/Teacher Interviews via TEAMS or phone next Wednesday and Thursday. Thankyou to the parents who have already booked in a time with your teachers. We look forward to sharing and celebrating the great learning this Semester.

The last day of term marks another great ACTIVE event Olympic Day!!! - I know Wayne together with a great team of teachers have been busy getting everything ready for what I know is going to be another fun filled day!!!

It's a Girl!

Congratulations to Ashlee, our Leading Teacher, on the safe arrival of the beautiful Elli Kate Anderson. We cannot wait to meet her and we continue to wish Ashlee all the best in her new role as Mumma.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me via email: principal@roxburghparkps.vic.edu.au

Looking forward to another semester full of respect, learning and co-operation!!!
