Join us for the Inter-School Athletics Carnivals

All parents are encouraged to support our students competing in the inter-school athletics carnivals this week.  We have organised extra seating, and parents are welcome to use the coffee van and food carts.

• Primary Carnival (PP-6) - Wednesday 23 June
• Secondary (7-12) - Thursday 24 June

The King's College Health and Physical Education Department has been working hard this term, organising many inter-house and interschool sporting events and encouraging team spirit.

ACC Inter-School Cross Country

The ACC Inter-school Cross Country carnival was held on Thursday 14 May at Bald Park in Floreat. The King’s College team competed with great effort and enjoyed the day. 

 “The 3km run was adventurous. There was a big oval and there was a nice mix of nature and open spaces. I was pleased with my 14 minute and 32 second time which is my personal best.” Jesse K.

“It is a race against yourself. I achieved 13 minutes and 17 seconds to finish 61st competing against 500 runners” Matilda R.

“It was a great chance to compete. There were some outstanding runners. The course shows the importance of training and fitness” Clive D.

“It was a good race and there were some tough competitors. It was lots of fun. Go King’s College!” Jacob J.

Year 10-12 Inter-School Soccer Carnival

The senior secondary students have been training hard on Tuesdays after school and recently came in 3rd place out of 6 in the Inter-School Soccer Carnival.
