Year 7 Wellbeing Day - Monday 18 May

Our Year 7 students had their Wellbeing day where they rotated through three different workshops, including 'Identity and Diversity' with DET school nurses, 'Empathy', with Intersection and 'Team Building Happy Yoga' with Guru Dudu, ending the day with Year 7 sports. 

Year 9 & 10 Wellbeing Day - Wednesday 2 June

Year 10 students will have a focus on positive peer dynamics with REACH foundation, Drugs & Alcohol talk with Sonya Karras and a workshop on the Coward Punch by the pat Cronin foundation.

 

Year 9 students will be exploring respect by REACH foundation, a workshop on empathy and a workshop on Mental Health awareness.

Year 8 Wellbeing Day - Monday 7 June

Students will be split into a boys and girls program facilitated by SEED workshops to focus on Respectful Relationships, Managing Stress, Friendships and Mateships and Gender and the Media.

Parent Seminar - Drugs & Alcohol and your Teens 

We had over 50 parents and carers turn up to hear Sonya Karras present on best ways to support our young people who are going to parties and are more and more exposed to drugs and alcohol. It was a very informative night with lots of tips on how to keep your child as safe as possible when partying or attending gatherings.
