Respectful Relationships

 

As informed through previous newsletters all classrooms currently run lessons from the Respectful Relationships Curriculum based on the following six topics:

  • Understanding Emotions
  • Personal Strengths
  • Positive Coping
  • Problem Solving
  • Stress Management
  • Help Seeking

This easy to access document (produced by the Dept. of Education and Training) provides ‘bite sized’ information on these 6 Key Elements, and short accessible activities that you can do at home to support your child’s wellbeing. Each level from Foundation (Prep) to Year 6 is presented (one page per year level).

 

There are also some additional activities that focus on positive thinking and gratitude, and some calm breathing exercises as well.
