A Sense of Community

The theme of community continues this week.  Evidence of this came alive last Friday when we celebrated the blessings of Mothers during our Mother's Day Liturgy celebration, led by our Year 1's as well as our Taiko Drummers. The weather was kind to us as we spilled into the playground for morning tea and the drummers' performance.

It was fantastic to see so many mothers, grandmothers and significant others join our school community. It has been a long time coming but we are finally on our way. It is through such events that we grow stronger in our quest to build community. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves at school with your children.

I trust all our mothers, grandmothers and significant other females in our students' lives relished this year's Mother's Day and we also continue to remember those mothers who are no longer with us.

Please delight in the many photos we have here to share with you.
