Sublime Song Classical Concert

Sublime Song lived up to it’s name! A diverse showing of different composers and seeming endless supply of talent from the youngest members of the school to the oldest performed last Monday 15 October.   With so many wonderful performances the night was filled with beauty, inclusivity and joy.

The Lofties joined the Arlington Strings n Things ensemble displaying the classroom instrumental program, Hamish blew everyone away with his Bach on the bassoon, Annabel & Hepsie dazzled us with their piano duet, Gus rose to the challenge of Vivaldi’s A Minor Violin Concerto, Gulliver had everyone captivated with his passionate piano playing and Mat O’Connor tied the night together with his witty anecdotes and jokes.

Unfortunately there were too many performances to mention them all here but what a night!!  We so appreciated the exceptional stage managing support from Tahlia Dimattina, the inspiring work of the instrumental teachers and the night would not be possible without the effervescent Michelle Berner.  What a pleasure to be involved in.
