School Bus Management System - Travel Applications for 2018

As you will be aware all existing families with travellers on School Bus Program services were sent  marketing materials in early November 2017.  The materials included:

  • A covering letter reminding families to renew applications for the 2018 school year
  • Bus brochure with flowcharts, key messages and dates for application renewals
  • Quick Reference Guide, and
  • Fridge Magnet

The purpose of the marketing materials was to remind families of their responsibility to renew applications via the School Bus Management System for the 2018 school year.

In addition to this, the School Bus Management System also sent individual reminders to families to renew their 2018 applications by 6 December 2017.  As the number of submitted applications was relatively low, PTV allowed additional time for families to renew, resulting in the allocation process occurring on Sunday 10 December 2017.  However, there are still many families with students who have not submitted 2018 travel applications.

 

As families have not renewed their 2018 travel, there is no guarantee they will get access to bus travel or access to the same service they previously had.  Families can still renew applications for 2018 now.
