
What is better than making pizza in Home Economics? Making a gluten free one!
Any time is a good time for pizza, especially when the weather is cold. This week our Year 8’s learnt how to incorporate cauliflower into the base to increase the nutritional value and using gluten free flour topped with Napoli sauce and fresh basil. The sensory reports the students completed after the task raved about the flavours.
The Year 8’s had a brilliant time making their own pizzas over the last two weeks, and I am glad to report we’ve had lots of success in making.
