Excerpts from our Food Critics visiting Café de Jardin

Our class had a café so we can learn French. The café was called Café de Jardin. It was organised and there was plenty of food. I really liked mousse au chocolat!

It was exciting to sit and be a customer. The tables all have little table numbers, the waiters were professional and the menu was all written in French. I would definitely recommend Café de Jardin!  By Eito

The Café de Jardin is a lovely café in Preshil, a school in Kew.  The café de Jardin is the right place for you if you like French food. The day I visited the sky was sunny and birds were chirping. Chattering noises in my ears, the Café de Jardin is a pleasant place to sit.  The food and service was great. The croissants were delicious to eat and definitely worth the wait. The food was very good. By Benji

It’s a new day and Café de Jardin in the little school called Preshil Arlington Campus is officially open! This little outdoor café with a great view of the surrounding herb garden.  A handwritten French menu with mouth watering food just makes Café de Jardin even more French with French food involved.  The food tastes delicious. My favourite was the mousse au chocolat. It was thick, rich, creamy and made my mouth water. The waiter’s move around taking orders from people spoke French. It was lovely. The food arrived quickly and the waiters were very polite. I recommend this café if you like nature, bird’s chirping and French. I give this café a five star rating. By Audrey

If great French finger food and a buzzing outdoor atmosphere is what your after, then the Cafe de jardin is well worth the visit! The atmosphere at Café de Jardin was a bit on the loud side and was hard to listen to the waiters at times.  But like any café, the food was just great! I loved the food even though it took a long time to arrive.  The mousse au chocolat was just amazing and just to tell you, the staff are super nice. Even thought he food is cheap, the tastes were just exquisite flavours of France and for this obvious reason, I highly recommend going to Café de Jardin! By Aiden
