Middle Years

2018 myPEC Leadership

We have been interviewing students for the 2018 myPEC Leadership roles. This was a rewarding collaborative process with the Head of House, and we were impressed with students during our interviews. These students will attend the Halogen Imagination Leadership Day in Melbourne next Monday 13th November.

The 2018 myPEC Captains:

Berry: Kody Roth and Tomi Cashill

Laidlaw: Charlie Keiller and Sylvia Page

Learmonth:  Jordyn Brown and Campbell Craig

Young:  Lucy Roberts and Angus Dohle

Congratulations to these students and to all students who applied and participated maturely and thoughtfully in our interview process.

Year 6 & 7 Orientation Day - Wednesday 15th November

Our Year 5 and 6 students are given the opportunity to participate in Senior School life for a day. This day allows them to preview the next year’s experiences, and to get a feel for their new environment. Our aim is to ensure that our students are comfortable about their transition to myPEC and this day allows them to explore the myPEC, participate in a range of activities and get to know each other.

The day starts at 8:45am and runs through until 3.20pm.  Students will attend transition sessions, a range of activities and attend our Assembly. Students are asked to wear casual clothes, bring sneakers and lunch or money to purchase food from the Cafeteria. The Cafeteria will be open at recess and lunch. We will be holding Morning Tea and a Parent Transition Information Sessions for Year 6 parents and Year 7 parents at 11.00am to 11.45am in the Da Vinci Room in myPEC.
