Congratulations to Jacob Mibus who won 2 Gold medals in the 100m & 200m and Silver in Long Jump; all Personal Best results in his AWD division at the State All Schools’ Track and Field Championships on the weekend. A fantastic achievement.

Last week was a successful one for our female athletes with many of our students nominated for the Hamilton Sportswoman of the Year awards in different categories. Well done to the Year 12 girls in the first rowing crew who won the “Team of the Year” award and to Niamh Jones who was runner-up in the Junior Sportswoman of the Year Award for her outstanding archery results in 2017.

On the weekend, the following students competed in the Portland 3 Bays Marathon in a school based teams event. This is a tough run so well done to the following students and to Brigita Keiller for organizing:

Those interested in their fun runs or doing a community event might be interested in doing the Hamilton Fun Run at the lake this Sunday. Check out the website or facebook page for more information but it would be great to see some College students and families down there.
