Values in Action - 'Responsible'

This Week's Values in Action Certificate Recipients

We are very pleased to share with you the recipients of our ‘Values in Action’ certificates which this time focused on our value of being inclusive. The recipients were announced at our virtual assembly, take a look below for some pictures of our very happy role models!

LIsa Year 1

Lisa from Yr 1 showed this value when a student who hadn't been onsite before, came nervously to join the year 1s, Lisa introduced herself, moved her work to be near him and engaged him in friendly conversation and compliments, so that he felt comfortable and included.

Eloise from Yr 2 consistently shows this value in action by supporting her peers online, listening and reacting positively to all work that is shared. She remains engaged and is enthusiastic, offering moral support to students who are sharing their ideas or their work.

Soham from Yr 5 has helped all students participate in our 5A morning meetings by assisting with their technical issues! This is a great way to make everyone feel included.

Nina from Yr 6 (not pictured) has always been kind and encouraging to the Prep students when at school. Remotely, she has also been connecting with some classmates who have been finding tasks difficult and working with them online.

Great work everyone! We look forward to focusing on our value of ethics next term.
